Chaparral Ridge Cross Country Course
LCU's Cross Country Course is located on campus at the corner of 34th St. and Frankford Ave. What was once an on-campus golf course was converted into a first-class, irrigated cross-country course in 2017. The course features running thoroughfares which are more than 25 feet wide throughout, a permanent finish line and a starting line that is over 295 feet wide. It is among the fastest and best in the nation and is entirely soft surface--primarily Bermuda grass.

The on-campus course has hosted a number of large meets since its creation, including the LCU Chap Invite, LCU October UIL Invite, D2 XC National Invite and H.S. National XC Invite just during the 2020 season. Lubbock Christian will host the TTU Open, D2 Preview and NCAA South Central Regional Championship during 2021 and they are already slated to host the regional meet in 2023 as well.
