Welcome to Lubbock Christian University's Athletics Compliance homepage. The LCU Athletics Compliance Office strives to effectively and efficiently ensure the department's adherence to the rules and regulations of the NCAA and the Lone Star Conference. Compliance with NCAA rules is one of the highest priorities for our athletics program and our institution and as an NCAA member institution, we are responsible for educating and monitoring the activities of prospective student-athletics, current student-athletes, coaches, as well as representatives of athletics interests (boosters, alumni, faculty, etc.).

The links contained within this website provide a general overview of basic NCAA rules, but is not designed to be comprehensive. It is only meant as a guide. Many NCAA rules impact the eligibility of both prospective and current student-athletes and following these rules helps protect their eligibility and the integrity of the Athletics Department. Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act
 
The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act requires co-educational institutions of postsecondary education that participate in a Title IV, federal student financial assistance program, and have an intercollegiate athletic program, to prepare an annual report to the Department of Education on athletic participation, staffing, and revenues and expenses, by men's and women's teams.  The Department will use this information in preparing its required report to the Congress on gender equity in intercollegiate athletics. The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act is designed to make current and prospective students aware of the school's commitment to providing equitable athletic opportunities for its men and women students. The Department of Education has provided a website http://ope.ed.gov/athletics/ that provides data from thousands of college and universities in a convenient searchable form.
