LCU HIGHLIGHTS

Mbongeni Ndlovu registered his team-leading fifth goal of the season.
• Chaps outshoot the Hillcats 21-19, marking the ninth game (out of 10) they have out-shot the opposition.
• LCU goalkeeper Tristan Putnam matched a season high with six saves. His career high is nine.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• LCU's backline had a day to forget as RSU had many counters on the advantage and breakaway opportunities due to defenders falling down. Missed opportunities kept the game scoreless until Lars Lindtner scored in 11:24 into the game.  The Hillcats made it 2-0 in the 30th minute, as Dylan Beaird scored on a breakaway after a through-ball by Billy Cundall.
• The Chaps interrupted the RSU scoring spree with Ndlovu stealing a clearing attempt and putting it into the goal in the 48th minute, cutting the deficit to 2-1.
• RSU responded in the 53rd minute with RSU goalkeeper Cody Gammill punting a ball past the LCU defense leading to Beaird's second goal of the game. They closed the scoring with a goal by Timothy Nuckols in the 77th minute.

GAME NOTES
• The game was played at Frenship Soccer Stadium due to unplayable (weather) conditions at LCU Soccer Field. LCU is 0-3-2 all-time when playing a home game at an alternate venue (0-1-2 this season).
• The Chaps witnessing an opening deficit is nothing new. Chaps opponents have scored first in eight games, including three of LCU's four wins this season. LCU is 3-3-2 when allowing the first goal.
Victor Domingues matched a career high with four shots for LCU. He co-led the team with Tommy Fogarty-Cameron.
• Beaird marked the third LCU opponent to produce a multi-goal game this season.
•Ndlovu's goal was his ninth in his LCU career. He is one of three seniors that will be playing in their final regular season home game Saturday.
• The Chaps typically out-shoot their opponents, but LCU opponents have been able to garner a high total of their own. In their prior game, Midwestern St. produced 21 shots on goal, which is s season high for a Chaps opponent this season. RSU produced the second highest total with 19. Prior to the two games, the most shots the Chaps had allowed was 15.
• LCU is now 4-1-2 all-time against RSU, as it was RSU's first ever win over the Chaps.
• The Chaparrals are now 2-3-2 at home this season. They are 5-6-3 all-time at home under Williams and 26-14-7 all-time at home overall.
• In Heartland Conference play, the Chaps drop to 15-5-0 all-time and 6-5-0 all-time at home.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
8: Rogers State's Dylan Beaird produced eight shots in the game, which is a season high for a Chaps opponent and the highest total since Texas A&M International's Jovany Macias had eight against LCU last season (Oct. 11 at TAMIU).
