HOW IT HAPPENED
• ENMU had the game's opening goal in 28
th minute with Ryan McManus scoring his second goal of the season on a shot that deflected off the post and off the back LCU goalkeeper
Fernando Rios before ending up in the net.
• Madzikatire scored his first goal of the season and tied the contest at 1-1 with 4:39 remaining in the first half.
• LCU played the final 22:18 shorthanded, with a second yellow card (red card) issued to
Brandon Couling, and ENMU took advantage of the man-advantage with a game winning goal by Ryan McManus with 2:01 remaining in regulation for his second goal of the game.
GAME NOTES
• With the loss, LCU was mathematically eliminated from Heartland Conference Tournament contention.
• The goal by Madzikatire gives LCU their 10
th different goal scorer on the season. On a personal note, the goal was Madzikatire's third career goal and his first since Nov. 9, 2014, which was against Eastern New Mexico.
• The game was the 10
th game, of LCU's 17 games played, that resulted in a one-goal differential and LCU is now 3-7 in games decided by one goal. Only five of LCU's contests have been decided by more than a goal (10 games decided by one goal and two draws).
• LCU celebrated Senior Day during halftime of Thursday's game, as
Mickey Brunton,
Cameron Lugo and
Cedric Omoregie each played in their last home game as a Chap.
• The Chaps are now 20-16-2 all-time in Heartland Conference contests and 8-9-2 all-time in Heartland Conference home games.

• ENMU extended their all-time series record to 5-2-3 over LCU and they completed the season series sweep with the win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
14 – LCU produced 14 corner kicks in the game, which marked a season high and the most since Sept. 14, 2013 against Huston-Tillotson.
