• The Chaps scored their first goal of the season, with Mickey Brunton scoring in the second half.
• LCU's Brandon Couling produced an assist for his first point with the Chaps.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• CSU-Pueblo jumped ahead early with a goal by Lorenz Delaney 1:46 into the game and by Mackenzie Paquette 3:11 later for a 2-0 lead less than five minutes in.
• Brunton notched his goal 1:57 into the second half to cut the LCU deficit in half.
• LCU was unable to receive credit for a shot on goal the rest of the way.
 
GAME NOTES
• LCU drops to 0-2-0 with the loss and it marks the first time the Chaps have been winless through the first two games of the season.
• Brunton's goal was his third career goal as a member of the Chaps. All three goals have come on the road.
• LCU was only credited with four shots in the game, which is the fewest since held to four by Drury in last season's season opener (Sept. 5, 2015).
• Chance McCarter and Andres Ramirez played all 90 minutes of the game. Ramirez has played in all 180 minutes of the season.
• LCU is now 1-1-0 all-time against CSU-P and 3-3-0 all-time against Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference squads.
• The Chaps are now 0-2-0 on the road this season and 31-19-5 all-time in road play.

- LCU's goal scorer (Brunton) and assist contributor (Couling) are both transfers that played at Salem International prior to beginning their LCU careers.
