LCU HIGHLIGHTS
• Lubbock Christian University women's soccer fell Saturday afternoon to Colorado State University – Pueblo in a 2-0 affair.
• The Lady Chaps were limited to six shots on the day. Sophomore
Hollie Windham and freshman
Allison Scott were the only LCU players to log a shot on goal.
• Freshman goalkeeper
Hannah Wise allowed both goals on the day and fell to 1-1-0 on the season. Wise made four saves on CSU – Pueblo's six shots on goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Thunderwolves first struck in the 34
th minute when keeper Rylie Martin played the ball to Mackenzie Bean, who connected for her first goal of the season.
• Ten minutes later, Bean once again put the ball in the net for her second goal of the contest. Danelle Dondelinger was credited with the assist on the final goal.
• Colorado State - Pueblo's keeper Rylie Martin tallied a save in the 55
th minute on a shot from Scott and once again in the 90
th minute on an attempt from Windham.
GAME NOTES
• The loss drops the Lady Chaps to 31-32-6 all-time on the road and 21-22-4 since
Alex Denning became head coach.
• Lubbock Christian was shutout on just two occasions in the 2016 season. The most recent instance was a 1-0 loss to Dallas Baptist University in the Heartland Conference Tournament last season.
• Coach Denning and his squad are now 2-3-1 all-time when playing teams from the state of Colorado. LCU was able to log a 1-0 victory in 2016 against Fort Lewis College (9/3/16).

UP NEXT
LCU will now look ahead to Monday's showdown with Wayland Baptist University. The game will take place on WBU's J.V. Hilliard Field in Plainview, Texas. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be the sixth ever matchup between the squads. Lubbock Christian holds a 3-1-1 record over the Pioneers.
