HOW IT HAPPENED
- Windham fired up the LCU offense early with a strike 6:36 into contest on a cross from
Makenna Pate.
- Moments later, Windham found the net again on another pass from Pate at the 7:13 mark.
- After finishing the opening period with a 2-0 advantage,
Haley Knesek found her way into the scoring column on Pate's third assist of the afternoon in the 56
thminute.
- Pate then tied a ribbon on the afternoon taking a pass from
Allison Scott and beating her defender before notching a goal in the 70
thminute.
GAME NOTES
- The victory snaps a two-game losing streak for the Lady Chaparrals.
- Following the result, LCU moves to a 3-6-0 overall record and a 2-3-0 mark against Heartland Conference opponents.
- Lubbock Christian's scoring onslaught marks their largest victory since a 4-0 win over Texas – Permian Basin last season (Aug. 31, 2017).
