- After a hard-fought day, Lubbock Christian University fell to No. 4 ranked Midwestern State University in a 3-1 result at LCU Soccer Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Carlos Flores capitalized first for the Mustangs taking a through ball, from Ross Fitzpatrick, for a finish at the top of the six-yard box at the 28-minute mark
- Dylan Burke then added a goal of his own for MSU Texas with a finish at the 53:48 mark. Burke was assisted on the play by Juan Ramirez.
- Sergio Lara struck two-minutes later for the Mustangs with an unassisted finish in the six-yard box.

Tariq Bakkali was finally able to get the Chaps on the board in the 84
thminute after stealing the ball from a Midwestern State defender before finding the net from just inside the 18-yard box. Bakkali's strike marks his fourth of the season.
GAME NOTES
- The match was riddled with whistles as there were a combined 20 fouls for the day.
- Additionally, there were five yellow cards distributed throughout the contest.
- Following the result, LCU moves to a 4-3-2 overall record and a 2-2-2 record in Heartland action.
