HOW IT HAPPENED
- OBU had the first scoring chance of the game, as Stormy Arledge put a shot on frame that Braxton Thorne saved
- A Bison foul in the box led to Fernando Flores taking a penalty kick that was saved by the OBU keeper
- Parker Lawter committed yet another OBU foul in the penalty area, and this time Flores converted, giving LCU the lead 25 minutes into the game
- The Chaps added to their lead in the 39th minute on a goal by Pablo Galietero Diez. Abdou Joof assisted on the goal
- Flores had three shots saved in the first 15 minutes of the second half, but finally found the back of the net at the 64:11 mark, scoring an unassisted goal to put the Chaps up 3-0
- LCU's final goal of the game came in the 67th minute, as Tariq Bakkali scored on an assist by Magnus McSween

LCU HIGHLIGHTS
- Chap goalkeeper Braxton Thorne recorded his second shutout of the season and the eighth of his collegiate career, making three saves in the win
- Sophomore Magnus McSween tallied his first-ever point as a Chap with the assist on Bakkali's goal
- Flores scored goals number four and five of the season during the game, recording his second straight multi-goal game. Last year, no Chap scored more than five goals on the year
- Three Chaps – Flores, Diez and Hector Rodriguez-Cabo – recorded multiple shots on goal during the game

CHAP NOTES
- LCU's 14 shots on goal against the Bison were its second most since joining the NCAA Division II Level and its most in a since an October 26, 2013 win against McMurry
- The Chaps are off to their best start in program history at 4-0. The previous best start was 3-0-1 in both 2010 and 2011
- Lubbock Christian took four corner kicks to just three for Oklahoma Baptist, leading in that category for the third time through four games
- The penalty kick goal by Flores and the goal by Diez were the first two that LCU has scored during the first half of a game this season. The previous five goals had all been scored in the final 45 minutes of play
- LCU is now 4-1-1 when playing games in the state of Oklahoma since 2013, when they made the transition to NCAA Division II
