LUBBOCK, Texas - The Lubbock Christian University women's soccer team earned its second straight shutout and collected their fourth Lone Star Conference win by beating UT Tyler 1-0 on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 21) at the LCU Soccer & Track Complex.
Lubbock Christian improved to 7-4-3 overall and 4-3-1 in Lone Star action following the win.
How it Happened
- The Lady Chaps grabbed a 1-0 lead when Lexi De La Cruz scored her ninth goal of the season in the seventh minute, assisted by Emily Douglas.
- Neither team notched another goal and the game ended with the 1-0 score.
