SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Lubbock Christian University men's soccer team trailed St. Mary's (TX) 2-0 18 minutes into the match, but fought back to tie the game at 2-2 Wednesday on the road at Sigma Beta Chi Field.
The Chaps moved to 4-1-4 overall and 0-0-1 in Lone Star action after the tie.
How it Happened
- St. Mary's (TX) opened the scoring when Gael Gallegos scored in the 10th minute, assisted by Cian Foley.
- The Rattlers increased their lead to 2-0 on a goal from Gallegos in the 18th minute, assisted by Sebastian Rivera.
- LCU narrowed the gap to 2-1 on Madden Montgomery's 21st-minute goal, his first of the season. Enzo Jaques assisted the goal.
- The Chaps leveled it at 2-2 with a 61st-minute goal from Pablo Galietero Diez, his fourth of the season. Jaques assisted the goal.
- The goal finished off the scoring in the game.
