LCU Highlights:
Turning Point:
As WNMU was trying to rally, trailing 4-1 with the tying run at the plate in the bottom of the fourth inning, LCU catcher Amanda Valdiviezo picked off a runner at third base for the final out of the inning.

How it Happened:
LCU opened the scoring in the second inning with Kasey Flores and Skylar Herrera hitting back-to-back solo home runs for a 2-0 lead. Herrera went deep again in her second at-bat (in the fourth inning), with a two-run shot for a 4-0 advantage.

WNMU had two aboard off an error and single, which setup a groundout for their first run of the game, but LCU got out of the jam with the tying run at the plate, as catcher Amanda Valdiviezo back-picked the runner at third base for the third out of the inning. LCU extended their lead in the next half-inning, as Tiarra Delrosario singled in Berkeley Quinn to go up 5-1.

The Lady Chaps put the game out of reach in the sixth inning, as Valdiviezo crushed a two-run home run to centerfield and Kamryn Gibbs went deep with a two-run home run two batters later. It turned into a five-run inning for LCU, as Bailey Hughes hit a pinch-hit sacrifice fly RBI.
