Hope Banales and

The Lady Chaps grabbed insurance in the home-half of the fifth inning. Following a one-out walk to
Hope Banales,
Kasey Flores hit a two-run blast to left field for a 4-1 lead.
Skylar Herrera followed with a double and scored on a pop-up by Valdiviezo, which was lost in the sun for a 5-1 LCU lead. SEU scored an unearned run in the seventh inning.
