- Goalkeeper Tom Miles has been stellar in net for the Chaps.
- He has recorded the most saves in the LSC and has the fourth highest save percentage.
FURTHER BACK
- The Lubbock Christian men's soccer program began in 2010 with a 3-1 win against the University of the Southwest (N.M.). On Nov. 9, 2021, in the opening round of the LSC Tournament, the Chaps won their 100th match in program history, rolling over UT Permian Basin 6-0.
- The Chap program enters the 2023 season with an overall record of 108-89-27.

- This will be the first match between the Chaps and NNU.
SCOUTING THE NIGHTHAWKS
- NNU comes into Saturday's game with a 2-2-1 record.
- Last time out they fell 1-0 to fellow LSC member West Texas A&M.
- They have outscored their opponents six to five. Scoring 1.20 goals per game and allowing just 1.00.
- The Nighthawks top goal scorer is Jim Wagenaar who has recorded three goals in 2023. No one else has scored more than one.
- Sawyer Price has played every minute in goal for NNU. He has a .762 save percentage on 64 shots faced.
- NNU averages 10.4 shots per game with a .481 shot on goal percentage.
- The Nighthawks are coached by James Williamson who is in his first season.
- NNU finished 2022 with a 15-4-3 record and advanced to the NCAA Regional Final where they fell 1-0 to CSU Pueblo.
