Thursday will be the 67
th meeting all-time between the Chaps and Greyhounds. LCU has controlled the series, holding a 37-29 record over ENMU. The Greyhounds are 18-14 at home against LCU. The Chaps have won five of the last six meetings.
About Eastern New Mexico
- The Greyhounds are in their 4th season with Head Coach Brent Owen at the helm.
- ENMU comes in Thursday with a 10-4 record and are 6-2 in Lone Star Play.

Last Time Out – LCU
Ethan Duncan scored a career high 30 points as LCU knocked off No. 10 Angelo State at home Saturday afternoon (Jan. 13).
The Chaps had four players score in double figures, led by Duncan's 30.
Aaron Gonzales added 18 points and
Najeeb Muhammad chipped in as well with 12 points and seven assists.
LCU shot lights out going 16-of-27 (59.3 percent) from behind the arc, including a career high seven threes from Duncan. Gonzales added four triples of his own.
The Chaps did a stellar job taking care of the basketball, dishing out 16 assists while turning the ball over seven times. Individually, Muhammad led the way for the Chaparrals with seven assists.
Kendall Dow also contributed with three assists of his own.
Last Time Out – ENMU
For just the second time in program history, Eastern New Mexico scored 100+ points for a seventh time in a single season. Saturday, the Greyhounds held on to a 108-91 win over Midwestern State.
Anytime a team scores more than 100 points, it is probably a good sign. Today, it was a great sign for ENMU. The Hounds went 38-for-70 (54.3%) from the floor and saw four players connect for double digits.
Greg Johnson was on fire offensively for the Hounds. He was 14-of-19 from the floor and drained 6-of-9 shots from deep range. Overall, he scored a career-best 39 points and added six assists and six rebounds.
A Win Would
- Give the Chaps a 13-4 overall record and 8-1 in the Lone Star Conference.
- Give LCU a 4-1 LSC West Division record.
- Be the 234th win of the Coach Duncan era.
