Jason Speegle has scheduled eight events in the fall portion of the men's tennis' 2024-25 season.
The Chaparrals open the campaign Sept. 7 with a pair of split-squad individual events, as a portion of the team will participate in the Dallas Baptist Invitational in Arlington, Texas and in the St. Mary's Brother Al Invitational in San Antonio, Texas. It will mark the second consecutive season the St. Mary's hosted event is included in the opening weekend of competition. Also, for a third consecutive season, LCU will participate in the Pueblo Duals in Pueblo, Colo., which are regular season countable contests Sept. 12-14 hosted by Colorado State Pueblo. LCU will face Colorado College, Nebraska Kearney, Colorado Mesa and Metropolitan State of Denver. The fall schedule concludes with a pair of individual events. LCU participates in the ITA Men's Tennis Regional Sept. 26-28 (in Tyler, Texas), as individuals compete for a trip to the ITA Cup. The Midwestern State Invitational (in Wichita Falls, Texas), Oct. 12-14 is the final event on the fall schedule.
LCU ended 2023-24 nationally ranked No.41 (ITA). They were NCAA postseason qualifiers for the second consecutive season with an 18-7 overall record. A six-win improvement over a 12-win season from 2022-23.
