Chaps Travel to Idaho to Battle Hawaii Pacific in Neutral Site Match

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Lubbock Christian University men's soccer travels to the Gem State for a neutral site matchup against Hawaii Pacific on Thursday afternoon.

Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m. from the Northwest Nazarene Soccer & Lax Field and will be streamed live on the NNU YouTube page.

Notes:

The Chaps are off to a 1-2-1 start in 2024 after a 2-1 loss on the road against Southern Nazarene last time out. Nako Amare scored the lone goal for the Chaps in the loss.
LCU has been outscored 7-3 through four games this season. Saimon Gjeci, Geoffroy Letienne and Amare have found the back of the net for the Chaps.
Connor Pettigrew has started every game in goal for the Chaps, tallying 19 total saves on 60 shots faced.
Lubbock Christian is coming off a 6-4-7 season in 2023, the most draws in a season in LCU program history.
The Chaps were picked to finish sixth in the Lone Star Conference preseason poll.
Thursday will be the first ever meeting between the Chaps and Sharks.

Scouting Hawaii Pacific:

Hawaii Pacific is off to a 0-2-0 start in 2024 following loses to Hawaii Hilo and Stanislaus State.
HPU was picked to finish 10^th in the PacWest Conference preseason poll.
The Sharks have been outscored 3-0 through two games this season.
HPU finished the 2023 season with an 4-11-3 record and were win less in their last five games.
Kevin Harr has started every game in goal for the Sharks, tallying four total saves on 26 shots faced.
HPU is coached by Chris Fisher who enters his 16^th season at the helm.
