’25-26 Men’s Basketball Schedule Announced

12 Home Games Slated, LSC Play Begins Dec. 3

LUBBOCK, Texas (October 10, 2025) – The Lubbock Christian men's basketball program has announced its 2025-26 schedule, which starts Nov. 1.

In just 22 days, the Chaps will tip off the season against UVA-Wise at the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic in Orlando, Florida. They will also take on Augusta at the invitational in the Sunshine State.

LCU will play five more neutral site games during the regular season, including a matchup with Colorado Mesa in Durango, a pair of games in San Antonio at the River City Holiday Classic, and matchups with Dominican and West Liberty at the Holiday Hoops Classic in Las Vegas.

The first chance to see the Chaps at home will come on Nov. 14, as they host this year's South Central Region Crossover. They will take on Colorado School of Mines at 7 p.m., and then take on Regis on Nov. 16 at 3 p.m.

Lone Star Conference play begins on Dec. 3 with a matchup against UT Permian Basin inside the Rip Griffin Center. The league's scheduling format has changed for the upcoming season with the addition of UT Dallas to the conference slate.

The LSC is no longer split into divisions, and LCU will now play a 20-game league schedule with all games counting toward conference standings. The Chaps will only play four teams twice – Angelo State, UT Permian Basin, Midwestern State and Cameron.

The top eight teams at the end of the regular season will advance to the LSC Tournament March 5-8 at the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas.

The Division II Men's Basketball Championship starts with regionals March 14-17 at campus sites and continues to the Elite Eight March 24-28 in Evansville, Ind.

Lubbock Christian finished the 2024-25 season with a 25-9 overall record and an 18-4 showing in conference play. They finished second in the LSC and won the league's West Division. LCU made it all the way to the LSC Tournament Championship for a second-straight season, and the Chaps made the NCAA Tournament for the fifth consecutive season.
