12 Different LCU Players Score in Win

LUBBOCK, Texas (November 16, 2025) — Lubbock Christian University defeated Regis University (CO) 105-70 in a wire-to-wire win at Rip Griffin Center on Saturday, finishing a perfect 2-0 first homestand of the season.

The Chaps shot an impressive 60.6 percent from the field, including 18-for-32 from beyond the arc, to secure the victory. The home team dominated the paint with 38 points and capitalized on 19 points off turnovers. Regis managed 70 points but struggled with turnovers, committing 15 throughout the game.

Lubbock Christian improved to 4-0 overall after a decisive victory. Regis now stands at 0-2 on the season.

LCU opened the game with a decisive offensive surge, establishing a 6–0 lead within the first two minutes, highlighted by Kendall Dow's and Amondo Miller Jr.'s early jumpers. The home team continued to dominate through the half, with Alex Anamekwe contributing a block and an assist, while Miller Jr. added a series of successful shots, including a three-pointer.

The Chaparrals' relentless pressure and efficient shooting from beyond the arc, with 13 made 3-pointers, allowed them to extend their lead. The half ended with the Chaparrals leading 58–29. Dow led the way in the half with 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting.

Early in the second half the Chaps were able to extend their lead, highlighted by Miller Jr.'s layup and subsequent jumper, setting the tone with a 62–29 advantage at the 19:07 mark. A three-pointer by Lucas Mercandino, assisted by Miller Jr., further solidified their control.

Regis attempted to stay competitive, but the Chaps maintained momentum through consistent scoring, including a fastbreak three-pointer by Dow at 14:40. LCU's largest lead came at the 11:08 mark, when a layup from Mercandino put them up by 46.
