KANSAS CITY, MO – Small College Basketball announced the teams and matchups for the 2025 Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic, with Lubbock Christian selected as one of the 10 teams to play in this year's event.
 
The 2025 HOF Classic will once again bring together some of the most competitive teams from NCAA Division II, including LCU. The event will take place on Nov. 1 and 2 in Lakeland, Florida at the Jenkins Fieldhouse on the campus of Florida Southern College.
 
Lubbock Christian will take on UVA-Wise and Augusta in their trip to the Sunshine State, playing at 11 a.m. ET both days. The Cavaliers went 18-11 last season with a 15-9 showing in the South Atlantic Conference, while the Jags went 19-11 and reached the NCAA Southeast Regional before seeing their season come to an end.
 
The Hall of Fame Classic started in 2016 and has been hosted in Evansville, Indianna and St. Joseph, Missouri before moving to its current location in Lakeland, Florida starting in 2022.
 
The Chaps finished the 2024-25 season with a 25-9 overall record and an 18-4 showing in conference play. They finished second in the LSC and won the league's West Division. LCU made it all the way to the LSC Tournament Championship for a second-straight season, and the Chaps made the NCAA Tournament for the fifth consecutive season.
