Chaps Fall 2-0

LCU Drops LSC Contest

LUBBOCK, Texas (October 7, 2026) — Lubbock Christian lost to UT Dallas 2-0 on Wednesday at the LCU Soccer & Track Complex. The Patriots scored twice in the second half to secure the win.

The Chaps are 5-6-1 overall and 2-3-0 in conference play. UT Dallas is 7-1-4 overall and 1-0-3 in conference play.

LCU reached halftime scoreless after absorbing sustained Texas-Dallas pressure, including a stretch from 8:30 to 20:02 in which Milo Paci made three saves in the opening period to keep the match at 0-0.

Earlier, Alex Lachevre forced a save in the eighth minute and the Chaps earned the first of their corner kicks moments later. After UT Dallas continued to generate chances, the Chaparrals put together their best attacking sequence late in the half, with Augusto Militao forcing a save at 28:32 before Carlos Kramer Silva and Jack Brassey followed with shots and the team earned two corners in less than two minutes. Paci added another save in the 33rd minute, and the Chaps carried the 0-0 score into halftime.

The Chaps generated an attacking burst soon after halftime with Junior Lopez's blocked shot, Jack Brassey's saved attempt and a corner kick. Paci helped keep the match scoreless through the middle of the half with saves against Evan Pustejovsky, Alexis Cruz and Parker Bowman.

LCU held the Patriots off the board until the 77:15 mark of the second half, but Luca Foschi scored off a Seb Martinez assist and Jose Diaz added another goal from Avery Brazzell at 79:15 as the Chaparrals fell 2-0. After the two UTD goals, the Chaps pushed late with a Militao shot, back-to-back corner kicks and a Lachevre attempt over the goal, but the Patriots carried the 2-0 score to the final whistle.
