Named to the D2CCA All-Region Second Team at the end of the season ... Pitched 52.1 innings with a a team-leading 18 appearances ... Struck out 46 batters and limited opposing hitters to a .255 average for a 2.06 ERA on the season. 

JUNIOR COLLEGE
Pitched for Odessa College in Odessa, Texas, where he combined for a 13-7 record... In 2016, he went 8-3 with a 5.61 ERA in 14 appearances (13 starts)... He recorded 61 strikeouts in 77.0 innings and held the opponents to three homers... As a freshman in 2015, Casey made 23 appearances and made four starts... He went 5-4 and also recorded a save. 

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Frenship High School in Wolfforth, Texas, where he was a two-time All-District selection, including Newcomer of the Year honors in 2012. He was also a two-time All-District selection in basketball and football, claiming Academic All-State honors in each sport.
