CONFERENCE HONORS
2022 - All-Lone Star Conference Team (Second Team)

2022 (JUNIOR) : Posted her first All-Conference season... Went 13-5 this season with a team-leading 2.29 ERA (10th in the LSC) in 134.2 innings pitched... She ranked fifth in the LSC in hits allowed per seven innings (5.4) and fourth in the LSC in strikeouts with a team-leading 150 (7.8 per seven innings ranks third in the LSC)... During an Apr. 1 contest at Texas Woman's, she completed her second career no-hitter, which was the program's 23rd all-time and fifth of the season... Opponents hit .210 against her on the season...

2021 (SOPHOMORE) : Battled through injuries much of the season, but did appear in 15 games and made seven starts... Had 44 strikeouts in 37.1 innings of work, as she went 3-4 on the season with a 3.56 ERA... Led the team, holding opponents to a .187 batting average... On Mar. 22, she went 5.0 innings (complete game) and faced two batters over the minimum, as she had seven strikeouts en route to her first collegiate no-hitter and LCU's 18th in program history in a 10-0 win over Texas-Permian Basin. 

2020 (FRESHMAN - COVID SEASON) : The true freshman made 10 appearances in the circle, making one start, and combined for a 3-1 record with one save... Had a 1.33 ERA, with 38 strikeouts in 21.0 innings of work on the season, as she held opposing batters to a .151 average on the season... In LSC play, she went 1-0 in five relief appearances and did not allow an earned run in 11.1 innings... Struck out 25 batters and allowed four hits in the 11.1 innings of conference work...

High School:
Valdez is a pitcher that attended Hays High School in Buda, Texas... Was a two-time All-State (TSWA) selection... Her senior season (2019) she was limited with an injury, but still helped Hays to a Regional Quarterfinal qualification... In 2018, she was the district "Pitcher of the Year" and claimed Austin American Statesman All-Central Texas Team accolades... Sported a 1.12 ERA with 265 strikeouts in 119 innings, while also batting .421 with seven home runs... She was the District MVP in 2017 and also claimed All-Central Texas Team honors that season... Valdez was also a district Newcomer of the Year and All-District selection in 2016... Played travel ball for Texas Blaze United.
