2021 - All-Lone Star Conference (Second Team)

2021 (JUNIOR) : Was one of five Lady Chaps to start in all 51 games and became a two-time All-Conference selection by receiving Third Team honors... Ranked second on the squad with 11 homers (13th in the LSC) with a team-leading two grand slams and six solo shots... She was also second on the club in slugging with a mark of .653... Hit .353 on the season with 38 RBI and had 14 stolen bases (on 15 attempts)... Produced 15 multi-hit games and 12 multi-RBI games on the season...

2021 (SOPHOMORE) : An All-Lone Star Conference selection (Second Team), she hit .377 in 46 games, serving as one of five Lady Chaps to start in all 46 games...  Herrera ranked seventh nationally with six triples, and also had eight home runs and finished fifth in conference in RBI, with a team-leading total of 43... She also finished second nationally with six sacrifice flies... Suited up for "Team Alliance," which faced the USA Softball National Team in a Tokyo Olympic Games tune-up played in June (of 2021) in Midland, Texas.

2020 (FRESHMAN - COVID SEASON) : LCU was off to their best start since 2012 in their COVID-shortened season, which saw Herrera serve as one of four Lady Chaps to appear in all 26 games... She was second on the squad with a .353 average, and produced four home runs (tied for 15th in the LSC) and drove in 21 runs (16th in the LSC)... The true freshman led LCU in stolen bases (21, third in the LSC and fifth nationally) and runs (28, second in the LSC), ranking third in the LSC in runs-per-game (1.08)... Also ranked ninth in the LSC in hits (30) and 12th in total bases with 50...

High School:
Herrera was a multi-sport performer at Odessa High School in Odessa, Texas... She was four-year letterwinner and all-district selection in both softball and basketball.... Claimed Co-District 2-6A MVP honors her senior season... Her junior campaign, she was District Defensive MVP and was selected for the Texas High School Coaches Association All Star Team after batting .537 with 9 home runs, 48 RBI and 19 stolen bases for coach Rachel Pena... Played travel ball with Texas Futures WTX... On the hardwood, Herrera was the program's first 1,000-point scorer and helped end a 14-year playoff void by helping the Bronchos reach the playoffs.
