2020-21 (LCU) - 
Brattain came off the bench to play in 18 of LCU's 21 games during his freshman campaign. He averaged 5.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game, shooting an efficient 55.1 percent from the field, including 47.5 percent from behind the arc. He scored a season-high 16 points on Feb. 19 at UT Permian Basin, with every one of his baskets coming in the second half, including a 4-4 performance on three-pointers. He pulled down a season-high six rebounds on Feb. 25 at West Texas A&M.

Prior to LCU
At Shallowater High School Brattain was the winner of numerous accolades. He was an All-State. All-Region and All-District selection at the 4A level, as well as an All-Region, All-District and District MVP at the 3A level during his tenure with the Mustangs. Other honors he earned were Regional All-Tournament Team (twice) and the State All-Tournament Team and the Caprock Classic Most Valuable Player. Brattain also excelled on the track, where he was an All-Region selection at both the 4A and 3A level. 

Personal
Brattain is majoring in Exercise and Sport Science with plans to continue working in athletics after graduation.
