Junior Season - LCU
McKenzie would transfer schools and Hays coaches for her junior year. She proved to be a valuable asset to the Lady Chaps hitting .467 in the lead off spot along with 32 RBI. She was even more dangerous on the bases with 40 steals while being caught only seven times. Clemmons would rank in the top 10 in six offensive categories: 47 steal attempts (6th), 1.559 hits/game (7th), 68 runs scored (8th), 40 stolen bases (9th), 92 hits (9th), and .467 batting average (10th). She would be named to the All-SAC First Team as an infielder. Season highs include two triples aginst University of the Southwest on 4/17/12 and on two seperate occassions had three stolen bases against Southwestern (kan.) and Union (Tenn.).
Sophmore Season - Texas Tech
Settled into a rotation in left field late in the year ... played in 44 games, including 20 starts ... has also been a key base runner in several situations ... hit .313 on the year with 19 runs scored and five runs driven in ... 6-for-8 on stolen base attempts ... offensive numbers were significantly higher than her freshman season ... recorded four multiple-hit games ... added her lone multiple-RBI game March 12 against Alcorn State ... has set a career high with three hits twice this year, Feb. 19 against Bryant and March 18 versus Long Island ... began a five-game hitting streak March 12 that lasted through the USF The Game Tournament before ending in the series finale against Missouri ... recorded her first career triple Feb. 18 against Bryant.
Freshman Season - Texas Tech
An ultimate utility player who played multiple positions throughout the year ... spent the majority of the season as the squad's designated player ... also made appearances in the outfield and third base ... played in 48 games with 38 starts ... hit .264 for the year with 3 RBI and 19 runs scored ... finished with a .304 on-base percentage ... was successful moving runners with sacrifices ... was also 5-for-7 in stolen base attempts ... posted four multiple-hit games.
High School
Competed in softball, basketball and track and field at Piedmont High School in Oklahoma and was the second baseman on district and regional champion squads, playing for Rick Scott's Wildcats, her teams when to the state tournament three times during her prep career ... earned 2009 All-State honors and was a "Daily Oklahoman" Softball Player of the Week.
