Biography

2019 (LCU)
Coming off the bench in 17 games, the Lubbock native had three hits (one double) in nine at-bats for a .333 average. His main work during the season came as a pinch-runner, scoring six runs during the year.

2018 (LCU)
Played in 21 games, all off the bench and often as a pinch-runner... Had just one hit (a double) in five at-bats with one walk... Scored seven runs. 

2017 (LCU)
Played in 24 games as a freshman, starting two, and hitting .400 with four hits in 10 at-bats... He manufactured a .538 on-base percentage...

High School
Prepped south of Lubbock at Lubbock-Cooper High School (Woodrow, Texas)... His senior season (2016), he claimed THSBCA (First Team) and TSWA (Second Team) All-State accolades... Was a three-time All-District selection in baseball, two-time in football and received the honor for basketball his senior season (First Team All-District in all three sports as a senior)... The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal named Perez to their Lone Star Varsity Super Team...
