Jacob Ochoa enters his first season as a Graduate Assistant for the LCU Baseball program. Ochoa played four seasons at Sul Ross State University and graduated with a degree in Biology. During his time at Sul Ross, Ochoa hit .227 with four homeruns and 33 RBIs. He also made six career pitching appearances, striking out five batters. 

After his time at Sul Ross, Ochoa spent one season coaching at Frank Phillips Junior College in Borger, Texas. The Levelland, Texas native comes to LCU seeking a masters degree.
