Attended Big Horn High School in Big Horn, Wyo., where he was All-Conference in basketball and football... Quarterbacked Big Horn to a state championship his senior year and the Casper Star Tribune named him the 2013 Offensive Player of the Year after completed 88 passes for 1,806 yards and 32 touchdowns with just two interceptions (also ran for 577 yards with 11 touchdowns)... Played baseball with the Big Horn Troopers, an American Legion program...
