Biography
2019 (LCU) -
Appearing in 18 games (10 starts) as a junior, Gomez spent a total of 807 minutes on the field. She scored three goals during the year, including one on October 19 against Texas A&M International, when she also had an assist for the first three-point game of her career. She was named the Lone Star Conference Defensive Player of the Week for games played Oct. 14-21. As a team, the Lady Chap defense limited opponents to just 9.5 shots and .89 goals per game, racking up eight total shutouts.
2018 (LCU) -
Gomez appeared in 15 matches with 11 total starts, playing a total of 802 minutes overall. She was one of just five Lady Chaps with multiple goals on the season, finding the back of the net twice on three shots on goal.
2017 (LCU) -
Played in 18 games as a freshman, starting seven times. Gomez did not score during the season, but did tally one assist and four shots.
High School
Gabby was a two sport athlete at Poteet High School in Mesquite, Texas... As a volleyball player, she was voted to the 5A All-State Volleyball Academic First Team in the 2016 season... Voted Defensive Most Valuable Player her senior year, in 2016, for District 15-5A during soccer season.
