The southpaw made 15 appearances and 14 starts on the hill, producing a 5-6 record. He led the team with a 4.73 ERA and pickoffs (9), and second in wins (5), opposing batting average (.304), innings pitched (78) and strikeouts (52).

Junior College
A Canadian south paw, Blanchette attended Galveston Junior College in Galveston, Texas... As a sophomore, he produced a team-leading 1.38 ERA (eighth in NJCAA) with a 3-1 record in 11 appearances... He tossed a no-hitter against Laredo Community College struck out 39 batters in 65 innings on the season… His freshman season, he was 4-5 with a 2.73 ERA in 12 appearances.

Internationally & High School
Blanchette emerged from the LBJEQ (Ligue de Baseball Junior Elite Quebec), where he was Rookie Pitcher of the Year in 2012… He helped Quebec win a gold medal at the Under 21 National Championships… He attended high school at Charles Lemoyne College private school.
