Biography

2021 (LCU)
VCastro appeared six times out of the bullpen during his freshman campaign. He was on the mound for 5.2 innings, allowing four earned runs on six hits in that time. He did have good swing-and-miss stuff with six strikeouts and an opponent batting average of just .286.

Castro was a two-way player for the Pirates, contributing both on the mound and at the plate. His senior season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
