Benavidez played in 22 games including two starts in his first season as a Chap. He picked up just one hit in 11 at-bats. He scored six runs and had a .377 OPS. 

2022 (Midland College)
Benavidez played in 18 games for the Midland College Chaps, batting .393 with an on-base percentage of .419 and a slugging percentage of .571. He picked up 11 hits in 28 at-bats, scoring 12 runs. Benavidez finished the year with eight RBI and three doubles.

2021 (Midland College)
Benavidez played in eight games and had 14 at-bats for Midland. Of his three hits, two of those were doubles and he finished with an RBI. He also drew three walks to finish with an on-base percentage of .353.

2020 (Midland College)
Recorded just six at-bats and no hits. Drew one walk
