2022 (LCU)
Carillo made eight appearances out of the bullpen for the Chaps, recording 11.0 total innings of work on the mound. He finished with a 5.73 era, striking out seven batters. Carillo earned his fourth career save on Apr. 8 against Eastern New Mexico, going 3.0 innings and giving up just one hit and needing just 30 pitches to give LCU a 5-3 win over the Greyhounds.

2021 (LCU)
Carillo appeared 13 times, all out of the bullpen and never for more than one inning of work. He allowed just 10 earned runs in 12.1 innings of work, walking only seven batters while striking out 12. He was the final pitcher used in LCU's game three win against Texas A&M-Kingsville in the first round of the LSC Tournament to clinch the series. He recorded three straight outs with the bases loaded, including back-to-back strikeouts to end the game. 

2020 (LCU)
Coming out of the bullpen every time, Carrillo was tied for the team lead in 2020 with nine appearances on the mound. He posted a 4.66 earned run average while limiting opponents to a .161 batting average in 9.2 innings on the mound. Carrillo allowed five earned runs on five hits with 10 walks and six strikeouts. His longest outing of the season was 2.0 shutout innings in a 2-1 win over St. Mary's on Feb. 9.

2019 (LCU)
In his freshman campaign, Carrillo got on the mound 13 times for a total of 16.1 innings pitched, all of which was in relief. He posted a 4.96 earned run average overall, allowing 15 hits and striking out 13 batters. His best stretch of the season came in the three-game series against St. Edward’s from 4/11 to 4/12. He pitched an inning of relief in all three games, allowing just one run across the outings in a key Heartland Conference series.

Lubbock High School
Carrillo pitched for the Westerners under coach Steve Ribera. He was named to the District 5-4A All District Second Team as a junior as Lubbock High reached the Bi-District round of the playoffs.
