Biography

2022 (LCU)
Played in 14 games for the Chaps, but only had three at-bats. Recorded lone hit of the season on Apr. 23 against UTPB, a two-RBI double. 

2021 (LCU)
Rumsey played in 26 games, though only three of those were starts and he was mainly used as a pinch runner or defensive replacement. The freshman recorded two hits, one of which was a triple, and walked once, but he also used his speed to score eight runs. 

2020 (LCU)
Rumsey did not see action during the season.

Lubbock Christian High School
Rumsey played all four years for the Eagles, earning All-District Second Team selections as a freshman and sophomore and All-District First Team selections as a junior and senior. He was named to the TAPPS Division III All-State First Team and All-State Tournament team in 2017 when LCHS captured the State Championship.
