Saw time in the batters box and on the mound as a junior... Offensively, played in 17 games, starting 11, and batted .243 with two doubles and four RBI... Made 12 appearances on the mound, recording a 0.00 ERA in 17 2/3 innings... He went 1-0, with the win coming in the 2015 NCAA Regional with a win over Texas.

Junior College
Played one season (2014) at Weatherford College in Weatherford, Texas, where he hit .377, leading the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference with 80 hits, and ranking fourth with 45 RBIs and third in doubles with 20...
Amateur Baseball
In 2015, he spent the summer in the Northwoods League with the Eau Claire Express (Eau Claire, Wisc.), where he made five appearances on the mound and played in 18 games as a positional player... Spent the summer of 2013 and 2014 playing in Kelowna, British Columbia with the Kelowna Falcons of the West Coast League, where he claimed All-Star honors (2014)... He had a .263 average in 21 games in 2013, collecting 21 hits, a homerun and nine RBIs... On the mound it appeared five times, compiling a 1-0 record, striking out 11 in 9.2 innings of work... In 2014, he hit .287 in 42 games, with 21 RBI... Also made seven appearances on the mound...

High School
Church was named All-District, All-City (Lubbock Avalanche-Journal) and All-State as both a junior and senior at Lubbock Cooper High School (Woodrow, Texas)... Played shortstop and hit .447 with 19 doubles, 10 home runs and 42 RBI as a senior... The same season, he was 9-1 with a 1.78 ERA... Hit .445 average as a junior, collecting 14 doubles, five home runs, 18 stolen bases and 32 RBI... Church was also 8-1 with a 0.91 ERA... As a sophomore, hit .421 with seven doubles, eight home runs and 37 RBI... Began his high school career with a .308 average and two doubles as a freshman.
