2021 (LCU) 
Stephenson made just five appearances, all of which were starts, as he suffered an injury early in the season. His first start of the year was his best, pitching a seven inning, complete game shutout with seven strikeouts and only two hits allowed against Arkansas-Fort Smith. The performance earned him LSC Pitcher of the Week Honors. Overall, he had an ERA of 5.48 in 21.1 innings of work with 27, hits allowed, 10 walks and 20 strikeouts. 

2020 (LCU)
Stephenson was the Chaps' No. 1 starter for the season, posting a 3.45 earned run average in 44 and a third innings on the mound. He limited opponents to a .255 batting average and struck out 43 of them, allowing just 17 earned runs across his seven starts. His best start of the year came on Feb. 28 against Texas A&M International, when he allowed not runs on six hits in nine innings of work with seven strikeouts. 

2019 (NMJC)
Making the transition to pitching full time, Stephenson appeared in 15 games, 14 of which were starts, spending a team-leading 76.2 innings on the mound. He posted a 4.34 earned run average in that time, allowing 37 earned runs on 72 hits while striking out just under a batter an inning. Six of his starts were complete games, and he went 7-3 for the year. The Thunderbirds went 42-17 on the year and captured the Region V title to make it all the way to the NJCAA World Series before seeing their season come to an end. 

2018 (NMJC) 
Stephenson contributed both on the mound at the plate during his inaugural collegiate campaign. He made 11 appearances as a pitcher, including one start, posting a 5-0 record overall. Stephenson allowed 33 hits in 35.0 innings pitched, but also struck out a batter per inning, posting an earned run average of 5.66. At the plate, he recorded 11 hits in 44 at-bats for an average of .250. He scored 12 times and drove in nine runs.
