Biography
Prior to LCU
The Chaps' team manager was a three-time Academic All-District selection in high school as well as an All-District pick his junior and senior year. As a senior, he was named the All-District Offensive Most Valuable Player, earning a spot on the TABC All-Region Team. That season, Plains was the District and Area Champions, and Ward earned a spot on the Academic All-State team. He also competed and was successful on the football field and track.
