2020-21
A steady presence at the point guard position, Copley started all 21 games for the Chaps on the way to their Lone Star Conference Championship and appearance in the South Central Regional Final. He averaged 6.4 points per game and was even better at creating opportunities for his teammates, ranking second in the conference with 5.4 assists per game. At the end of the regular seaosn, Copley was named to the All-LSC Third Team for his performance.Â
2019-20
LCU's starting point guard in all 29 games, Copley was second on the team with just over 24 minutes per game on the floor. The Canadian native was the team-leader and ranked second in the conference in assists per game with 5.3 while also adding in 9.5 points and 4.0 rebound per contest. He reached double figures in scoring 16 times, including his new career-high of 26 points, which he scored on 2/27 against UT Permian Basin. Copley was also active defensively, leading the team with 35 steals on the year. He was named to the All-Conference Second Team and, at the end of the school year, on the Athletic Performance Team, which served to recognize student-athletes who excel in work ethic, dedication to process, attendance, communication, leadership and growth.Â
2018-19
Copley played in 28 of LCU's 31 games, including 23 starts as a redshirt freshman. The Canadian native led the team with 4.6 assists per game, racking up a total of 169 during the season, including a season-high of 10 in the Chaps' NCAA Tournament win over Colorado School of Mines. Copley also averaged 3.8 points per game during the season with a .373 shooting percentage from the field and a 73.2 percent mark on 41 free throw attempts.Â
