LCU:
2023-2024 - MacDonald played in 12 games as a Sophomore, averaging 9.3 minutes per outing. He shot 58.6 percent from the field while averaging 3.4 points and 2.4 rebounds. He scored a season high nine points against UT Permian Basin on Jan. 11.

2022-2023 - MacDonald played in 28 games as a Freshman, starting in one. He averaged 12.8 minutes per outing. MacDonald shot 49.2% from the field averaging 3 ppg, 2.8 rpg, and 0.2 apg. He scored a season-high 14 points against West Liberty on Dec. 17. 

Prior to LCU:
MacDonald saw playing time with the Illawara Hawks of the Australian State League, averaging 10.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. Recorded a double-double on Apr. 28 against Norths with 20 points and 19 rebounds, both season-high. Also picked up a double-double on Apr. 23 against Inner WB with 12 points and 13 rebounds, and again on Jun. 25 against Hills with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Finished two rebounds shy of a triple-double in his first game of the season on Apr. 2 against Sutherland with 13 points, 10 assists and eight boards.
