In his first season with the Chaps, Torres came off the bench in eight of Lubbock Christian's nine games, playing a total of 275 minutes. His season-high came against his former team, DBU, when he played 55 minutes. Torres had a pair of shots during the season, but neither were on frame. 

Prior to LCU
Last season Torres played for fellow Lone Star Conference member Dallas Baptist, seeing action in all 18 games for the Patriots. He scored three goals, including the first of his college career on 9/21 against Oklahoma Christian. He also had two assists on the year. Before that, he was a two-year letterman at Frisco High School, where he earned First-Team All-District honors. He played club soccer for FC Dallas Youth 00'. Torres is a Pre-Nursing major with plans to be a neo-natal nurse after graduation.
