Biography

2020-21
Woods was a key part of the team during the COVID-adjusted spring 2021 season, playing in all nine games, including eight starts. He started off the season strong, scoring the game-winner on the road against UT Tyler in the opener. It was his only goal of the season, but he did have an assist on the game-winner in the March 16 game against Texas A&M International as well. Woods played 729 total minutes, which was the fourth-most on the team.

2019
Back from injury, Woods played every minute of every game for the Chaps, spending 1,707 minutes on the field. As a mainstay on the LCU back line, he helped them to a goals against average of 1.72, allowing only 205 shots and 102 shots on goal from their opponents. Woods also had one assist on the year in the 9/8 game against Colorado Christian. 

2018
Woods played 383 minutes in five games before an injury cut his season short. 

2017
As a sophomore, Woods played in all 18 games, tallying nine shots during the season. Scored his first collegiate goal against St. Mary's (10/14) and added another against UT Permian Basin (10/27). 

Prior to LCU
Jonathan is a midfielder from Chesterfield, England... He joins the Chaparral squad from Bacone College in Muskogee, Okla. where he played his freshman season for the Warriors... While there, Jonathan racked up 16 appearances and 15 starts... He netted four goals and dished out two assists for the Warriors for 10 total points on the season... Jonathan notched 12 shots on goal for the season for a .75 shooting average.
