Trull set a new personal best in the 5K in her first race of the season, finishing with a time of 20:34.0 at the Texas Tech Open. In her first career 6.275K at the ACU Naimadu Classic, Trull finished with a time of 25:33.9. At the NCAA South Central Regional, Trull closed the season setting a new personal best in the 6K with a mark of 23:29.1.
