Claimed Second Team All-Heartland Conference honors as she led LCU in points during conference play with nine off a trio of goals and assists. Overall on the season, Odom co-led LCU with five goals and also added three assists for 13 points. She ranked second on the team in points with 13 in 16 games.

Emily played in 19 games during her first season at LCU. She scored six goals which was third most on the team with three goals scored during conference play, and five scored while on the road. Odom also had three assists on the season

The midfielder and forward spent her high school career competing for Keller High School in Keller, Texas. Her senior year, Keller qualified for postseason play and fell in the Bi-District round. She played club with American Eagles FC, who were formerly the DFW Tornados.
