Competed in five races during the season. Her best 5K time came in her first-ever collegiate meet at 22:34.5 in the Texas Tech Open. She then posted her best 6K time of 24:33.4 at the Heartland Conference Championships to place 43rd individually.Â

Ran in the mile and the 800-meter during indoor season, but did not compete at the LSC Indoor Championships. During outdoor season, Cox competed in the 15000-meter and the 3000-meter steeplechase. At the LSC Outdoor Championships she placed 13th in the steeplechase with a time of 13:29.04.
