Brooke Hendrickson

Brooke, a Minnesota native (Becker, Minn.) and former Lady Chaparral softball student-athlete, enters her first year as a Graduate Assistant for Athletic Performance at Lubbock Christian University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in Youth and Family Ministry from LCU, graduating as an Honors Scholar through the university’s Honors College.

During her playing career, Hendrickson competed as an outfielder for the Lady Chaps during the 2022 and 2023 seasons, contributing to postseason appearances. Her experience as a collegiate student-athlete shapes her coaching style, emphasizing communication, preparation, and athlete development rooted in discipline and intentionality.

Brooke also gained applied coaching experience through internships at Frenship High School and ETS Performance, where she assisted with strength and conditioning sessions and on-field athletic development programs.

She completed an undergraduate thesis titled The Effects of Creatine on VO2 Max in General Population Participants Undergoing a Four-Week Hybrid Training Program,” exploring performance adaptations through mixed-modality conditioning.

At LCU, she assists with performance programming for Volleyball, Cheer, Women’s Soccer, and Women’s Tennis while pursuing her Master of Science in Human Performance.
