Everett Corder returned as LCU's sports information director in October of 2024, after serving as the marketing coordinator for the Texas Tech Alumni Association. The Amarillo, Texas, native previously held the role of assistant sports information director at LCU from 2019 to 2022 before transitioning to Texas Tech. While at Tech, he has assisted with gameday staffing and broadcasting rolls with LCU baseball.
Before his initial tenure at LCU, Corder led communication efforts in the athletic department at Angelo State University, where he also earned his master’s degree. His career began with a communications internship in the Texas Tech athletic department while he completed his undergraduate degree in 2016.
During his time at Texas Tech, Corder served as sports editor for The Daily Toreador in 2014-15. He also worked as a sports correspondent for the Amarillo Globe-News and as a sports reporter for The Canyon News.
