Lubbock Christian University Athletics

Gino Saucedo joined the Lubbock Christian University Athletic Department in spring 2026 after working with Sports Info Solutions. He brings experience in athletic operations, sports information and collegiate basketball coaching to his role at LCU.

Saucedo began his collegiate athletics career as a graduate assistant with the Texas Tech men’s basketball program during the 2018-19 season under head coach Chris Beard. He later spent three seasons as an assistant coach at South Plains College, serving on head coach Steve Green’s staff from 2020 through 2023.

In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Saucedo served as an assistant coach for the Air Raiders, a Texas Tech alumni team that competed in The Basketball Tournament. He worked under head coach Luke Adams in 2022 and Jason Staudt in 2023.

A native of Mexico, Saucedo moved to the United States at an early age and graduated from Dimmitt High School in Dimmitt, Texas. He earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Texas Tech University in 2017.

Saucedo is married to Alondra Rocha.
