Lubbock Christian University Athletics

The 2025-26 campaign marks Jakobe's first year as a Graduate Assistant for Athletic Performance at Lubbock Christian University. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida, where he gained hands-on coaching experience at The Ark School of Fitness and CrossFit Warpath, working with athletes across a wide range of training ages and abilities.

During his time at Florida, Morgan competed with the Gator Weightlifting Club and served as Men’s Team Captain. Under his leadership, the team captured two USA Weightlifting National University Championships and one national runner-up finish. Individually, he became the 2023 USA Weightlifting National Champion in the 61kg weight class, showcasing his technical skill and commitment to elite performance.

At LCU, he assists with programming for Cheer, Track & Field, Baseball, and Men’s Soccer while pursuing a Master of Science in Human Performance. Morgan is currently preparing for his CSCS certification and is passionate about developing strong, technically proficient, and competitive student-athletes.
