Kim assumed the position as director of athletic engagement in 2021 and has been with LCU since 2014, as she spent time as an executive administrator in the Advancement Department (2014-2019) and as the director of alumni relations (2019-2021).
Wheeler graduated from Lubbock Christian University in 1988, and her husband, Daniel, graduated from LCU in 1990. They have three children: Connor (graduated from Pepperdine), Samantha and Madison (both daughters graduated from LCU).
A native of Amarillo, Texas, Kim was raised in Panhandle, Texas and is a graduate of Panhandle High School. She completed a degree in Business Administration while at LCU. Prior to her arrival at LCU, Kim spent 12 years working at Wentz Orthodontics in Lubbock.
